Havi is a tiny, cozy scrapbook app that lives on your phone. We believe the photos you paste, the stickers you cut out, and the pages you create are yours — not ours. This policy explains exactly what data Havi touches, what stays on your device, and what we ever receive. It’s short, we promise.
Your pages, stickers and library live on-device by default.
We never sell, share, or profile you for advertising.
Any system-level prompts are triggered by features you opt into.
Havi only stores what the creative experience actually needs.
This Privacy Policy describes how Havi Studio (“we”, “us”, or “Havi”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Havi mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using Havi, you agree to the practices described here. A separate Terms of Service document for the App is also available and may be reviewed separately.
Rule #1 of Havi: if we don’t need it, we don’t collect it. The photos you import, the stickers you cut, and the pages you build stay on your device unless you explicitly export them or share them.
When you tap Share, Havi renders the page to a temporary PNG file and hands it to the iOS share sheet.
From that point, whatever you do with the shared image is governed by the receiving app’s own terms and privacy policy —
for example, sharing to Instagram means Meta’s rules apply. Havi has no visibility into how the recipient uses the image.
When you tap Download, Havi writes the rendered page PNG to a local destination of the system’s choosing. After that, the file behaves like any
other exported media on your device — only you control where it goes next.
Havi is a general-audience creative app and is not marketed specifically to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that Havi has accidentally received personal data about a child, please contact us at the email below — we will promptly delete any such material from our possession within a reasonable timeframe.
Because most of your data lives on your device, the easiest way to access, correct, or delete it is right in the app:
Open the book or shelf — everything we know about is already visible to you.
Rename stickers, edit page titles, or rearrange pages directly inside the editor.
To wipe everything, delete Havi from your device. Its sandbox is removed along with the app by iOS.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding any personal information we actually hold. Right now Havi does not operate an account or cloud backend, so the answer to a typical access request is usually “we don’t hold any personal data on you.” But if you believe otherwise, email us — we will respond promptly.
We take reasonable precautions to protect whatever little information we handle. The Havi app stores its local data in the standard iOS sandbox with data protection enabled; support emails travel over TLS; and the app ships with no network-backed upload of your pages or stickers. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, however — so please keep your device passcode enabled and your Apple ID secure.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will bump the Last updated date above and show a gentle in-app notice the next time you open Havi. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised Policy means you accept the new terms.
If you have questions about this Policy, want to exercise a privacy right, spot something that seems off, or just want to say hi — email our tiny, friendly team. We read every message.
We aim to reply within two business days. Please include “Havi Privacy” in the subject so we see it fast.
